About us
Novo Canada exists to support, empower, and equip ordinary believers to form missionary communities in Canada. We glorify Jesus by partnering with the Holy Spirit to launch disciple-making movements. We are forerunners, and pioneers, compelled to bring light to dark places. We approach life with a love for the lost and sense of urgency to communicate the gospel to the whole world (Mt 24:14) in word, deed, and power. All that we do flows out of intimacy with Jesus.
In Canada our team is dispersed geographically but tries to function as a family. We’re more interested in building strong relationships than drawing an organizational chart. Listening to Jesus individually and corporately is integrated into our daily decision-making and long-range planning. Every team member invests in prayer, engaging the harvest, discipling other to Christ and then to maturity in Christ, and teaching others what they know. Novo Canada also supports international projects, such as Discovery Dominical. Projects are ways that we can extend the work of Novo Canada through a partner who shares our goals and values. Internationally, Novo Canada is a partner in CoNext – a fellowship of indigenously-led organizations that are all committed to being catalysts for disciple-making movements. |
