Shamla Le Kay
Administrator
Shamla Le Kay joined Novo Canada in December 2023 as an administrator, where she supports teams serving across Canada as they seek to see the Gospel take root among people who have not yet encountered Jesus. Prior to joining Novo, she served for three years on staff at her local church.
Originally from South Africa, Shamla has been a pharmacist since 2006 and immigrated to Canada with her family in 2017, settling in Mississauga. Shamla and her husband, Francois, are raising two amazing teenage daughters who share their passion for Jesus and for sharing His love with others around them. As a family, they enjoy opening their home to host Bible studies, sharing the love of Jesus through both the Word and hospitality. They are also grateful to have Shamla’s mom living with them, making them a close-knit family of five.
Her years in healthcare shaped a deep love for serving people and caring for the well-being of others, values that continue to guide her work today.
Shamla is passionate about supporting ministry behind the scenes so that others can serve effectively and she values being part of a community that seeks to live out and share the message of Jesus with compassion and authenticity.
