Love Richmond is not so much an event as a campaign to mobilize Christians in the city to express the love of Jesus in word, deed, power. Consider this a call for the willing to rally together.

Richmond is a thriving city surrounded by the Fraser River and lush farmlands. It is part of Metro Vancouver, British Columbia. Richmond’s three largest population groups are Chinese (54%), South Asian (7%), and Filipino (7%). According to the 2021 census more than 50% of Richmond’s population indicate that they have no religion. We truly believe that in our city the harvest is plentiful.

Would you join us to help the citizens of this city experience the life and love of Jesus.

Ways to engage:

1. Join the Love Richmond WhatsApp group. We make announcements and communicate locations for prayer and outreach on the app.
2. Prayer Walk – Every Monday at 10am we prayer walk a different part of the city. You can join us, or start a prayer walk in your own neighbourhood. We’d love to hear from you so we can track coverage in the city.
3. Outreach – Every Thursday we go out into the community and share the gospel with the people of the city. After a brief orientation we hit the streets.
4. Begin a Local House of Prayer (LHOP). This is a simple gathering of Christians in your neighbourhood who gather weekly to pray for their neighbours for a set amount of time (usually 5 weeks). We can coach you on how to start one.
